Faith and
family, ancestry and environment are all contributing factors that have
brought me to where I am with painting and design. Russian and Native
American heritage inspire my love of color and the surroundings of the
countryside where I live provide endless creative possibilities. God and
family bless me with the gift to appreciate the beauty in all things from
the smallest seed to the tallest tree. To be able to take a brush and
create from a style that’s been a work in progress for years has truly
been a joy, and sharing what I’ve discovered with others makes it even
more so.
Painting hasn’t
been a natural process for me but rather a worthwhile labor of love for
what it has brought to my life. Therefore, I feel anyone with a sincere
desire can paint. Success for me is measured through personal growth,
which has been and remains a continual process. The greatest joys are
found in endless discoveries to take what the eye can see and capture that
essence in paint using a style as individual as a fingerprint.
