Materials
Dynasty Brushes
#000 Fine Detail Brush
#6 Shader Brush
#1 Flat Brush
5/8Ó Glaze Brush
#2 Shader Brush
Acrylic Paints beige, black, orange, red-orange, green, dark green
Box to Decorate Approximately 6"x6"x6" (you can use a shoe box, gift box or any small wooden box
Wood Beads
14 - 1/2" Beads
Craft Wire 22" of 19-Gauge wire
Carbon Paper
Disposable Palette
Water Basin
Paper Towels (in case of a spill)
Wire cutters
Pencil
1/8" drill bit and drill (or hole puncher, depending upon the box youÕre using)
Varnish (if youÕre using a wooden box)
Masking tape (optional)

Directions
1. Drill or punch holes at top middle of opposite sides of your box. (handle attaches here).

2. Paint entire box with beige using the Dynasty #1 Flat Brush.

3. When paint has dried, paint 3/4" border at bottom with black using the Dynasty 5/8" Glaze Brush. Line along border with masking tape if desired (this will make edge painting easier.) Paint line above black border with orange. Paint lines at top with orange and black using the Dynasty #2 Shader Brush. These lines can also be painted using masking tape to line. (Be sure the paint is completely dried before using any tape!)

4. Lettering can be traced onto black border, however, it is just as easy to paint freestyle with beige using a Dynasty #000 Fine Detail Brush.

5. Place carbon paper between front panel of box & this instruction sheet. Using pencil, lightly trace pumpkin shape onto box.

6. Paint pumpkin orange with the Dynasty 5/8" Glaze Brush. Repeat by filling brush with orange and tip corner in red-orange. Paint again keeping the darker color to outer edges and the creases. Tip corner of brush in beige and highlight cheeks. Using the Dynasty #2 Shader, accent each cheek with short strokes in beige. Paint eye beige and dot with black. Add mini accent dots with beige. Paint the nose and mouth black using the Dynasty #000 Fine Detail Brush.

7. Paint leaves dark green using the Dynasty #6 Shader. Then tip corner of brush in green and highlight tops and sides of leaves. Using the #6 Shader, lightly brush leaves with beige to accent. Use the Fine Detail Brush with dark green and paint the stems and tendrils.

8. Using the wood tip of the Dynasty #000 Fine Detail Brush, randomly dot all sides of box with black. (Note: Dots take much longer to dry.)

9. Using the #6 Shader, paint 5 of the wooden beads black, 5 orange and 4 beige.

10. If youÕre using a wooden box, apply a coat of varnish to box and beads when paint has dried.

11. Attach wire for handle. Spiral about 1" and thread beads; spiral remaining end and attach to secure. Trim any excess wire with wire cutters.
