Tulip Cards
- Load Wave
Filbert with Wisteria and tip side corner in Lavender. Paint three
strokes for back petals beginning at the top and pulling downward,
painting right and left petals first and middle petal last. Repeat
for front petals by loading Wave Filbert with Lavender and tipping
side corner in Wisteria. Blend at the bottom to smooth edge.
- Make an
inky consistency of Evergreen and Hauser Medium Green. Pull one side
of the Liner through the darker green paint color, turn and run the
other side through the lighter green paint. Paint stems by pulling
Liner from top to bottom.
- With No.
10 Shader, paint leaves beginning at bottom, press brush at an angle
and pull moving brush upward, finishing with a quick pull to create
the point end of the leaves.
- Dot center
using tip of Liner and Antique Gold. Dry and Dot over with Black
Green.
- Repeat
same strokes for Pink Tulip. Paint back petals by filling Wave
Filbert with Royal Fuchsia and tipping corner in Baby Pink. Fill
Wave Filbert with Baby Pink and tip corner in Royal Fuchsia. Dot
Centers and paint stem and leaves.
- Fill No.
10 Shader with Primary Yellow and tip corner in Antique Gold and
paint butterfly wings. Use the same stroke for the wings as for the
leaves on the trumpet flower. Use a No. I Liner and Black Green and
