Directions:

  1. 1. Using Black Gold glaze brush, basecoat large flower pot red and small flower pot white. Let dry. Repeat.

  2. Basecoat wood balls and craft stick flesh color. Cut craft stick in half, sand edges. Sand one area of the small ball knob flat for gluing.

  3. With shader brush, basecoat large hearts white and small heart red with glaze.

  4. Drill holes in sides of small heart and at each round end of the cut craft stick.

  5. Using shader brush, paint red stripes around small flower pot. With liner brush, paint a black line down the center front.

  6. Paint apron white on front of large flower pot. (Flower pot is upside down.) Using the shader, tip one corner in white and one in water; remove dripping water, paint small half circles around apron for lace. Paint two small circles white at neckline and with the liner, dot red for buttons. Use detail brush to dot the border on painted "lace" with white. Randomly place three dot clusters over dress area. With liner, paint wavy line border along rim. With round brush and white, paint flower border. Stripe each flower red with liner. Paint centers blue, dot white. Tip one corner of shader in green, one in sage. Paint each leaf with one stroke. Dot apron red with detail brush.

  7. Paint small red hearts randomly on the largest hearts (wings) with detail brush. Paint wavy lineborder red with liner.

  8. Paint red "stitching" line around medium heart. Paint inner area flesh. Paint a white line across this for a shoe strap. Dot blue for shoe button.

  9. Apply oil pastel or blush to the cheek areas. Paint eye circles white with round brush. Using black and detail brush, paint inner eye circles, the line around the white, eye lashes and eyebrows. Paint lips red using detail brush. Line remainder of mouth black with the liner.

  10. Paint lace on small heart, same as apron. Dot ruffle red with detail brush. Line "lace" white on inside. Pencil in lettering or paint freestyle.

  11. Spray before gluing together or completed doll can be sprayed with sealer finisher before air is glued on.

  12. Glue small ball to large ball for nose. Set to dry. Glue craft stick halves to side of flower pot for arms. Use masking tape to hold until dry. Glue medium heart to small terra cotta pot.

  13. Glue doily to terra cotta pot. Glue large ball for head to top of doily. Wrap pearl or bead necklace around bottom of head, gluing at back.

  14. Glue ribbon around hat. Tie a bow and glue along with flowers to the hat. Glue small satin ribbon bows to each "shoe" heart. Set to dry.

  15. Attach wire to heart, thread onto craft sticks twisting to secure.

  16. Attach heart wings to back of terra cotta pot with adhesive-backed Velcro™ squares.

  17. Apply thin layer of glue to top of ball knob for doll hair. Tie ric rac bows, glue to each side of head. Glue the hat to top of head.
